My name is Brandy Hinds-Boone

Brandy Hinds-Boone graduated from Texas Southern University with her bachelor’s degree in Business Management Administration in 2007, and is certified in Food Safety Management. Chef Brandy has been preparing meals since she was 9 years old! While growing up in the kitchen alongside her mother, Gloria Carter, she learned how to cater to any appetite from an early age!! Her mother taught her diverse recipes and shared the family's secret ingredient; cooking each dish with your heart and soul. It is safe to say that a lifelong passion for cooking was instilled in her by her mother. In 2010, Brandy’s beloved mother passed away. The passing of her mother Gloria became the driving force to carry on her love for cooking, and honor the memory of the woman that taught her so much. Consuela's Kitchen originated from Brandy’s middle name and was always a term best suited to describe the flavorful style of dishes whipped up in her kitchen. In 2014, Chef Brandy had a strong desire to turn her passion and her love for cooking into a professional catering business. With over 25 years of culinary experience Chef Brandy is now founder and CEO of Consuela's Kitchen! Clients say Chef Brandy always gets the job done deliciously.
